Central City Association
Jessica Lall serves as the President and CEO of Central City Association (CCA), Los Angeles’ premier advocacy organization. CCA represents the interests of more than 400 businesses, trade associations and nonprofit organizations that employ more than 350,000 people in Los Angeles County.
Since becoming CCA’s president and CEO in January 2017, Jessica has restructured the organization and refocused its advocacy agenda to advance policies and initiatives that enhance Downtown’s vibrancy and increase investment in the region. She also has increased the organization’s membership and expanded its governance.
Prior to joining CCA, she served as Executive Director of the South Park Business Improvement District (SPBID) in Downtown LA. At SPBID, she envisioned and implemented a nationally lauded public art initiative, expanded District boundaries, launched numerous innovative pilot programs and elevated the neighborhood with a strategic branding and economic development plan.
Jessica previously held the role of Senior Policy Director in the Department of Economic and Business Policy for former Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa. She also served as Communications Director for the Austin Beutner for Los Angeles Mayor Campaign, and as the Chief Advancement Officer at Coro Southern California.
Jessica serves on the Board of Directors for Metro Charter Elementary School, Coro Southern California and LA2028. She is on the Advisory Board for Urban Land Institute Los Angeles (ULI LA) and is a member of its Land Use Committee. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Social Sciences, and is a graduate of the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs.
