Dear Coro Community,
It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that we announce Dr. Sadie Moore’s departure as Director of Training. Since 2009, Sadie has played a critical role in Coro Southern California’s success. We want to thank her for her eight years of dedicated service which involved many significant accomplishments, including the exceptional training of eight Fellows Program cohorts.
We are pleased to announce that Sara Loncka, who has been Manager of the Fellows Program, will be the new Director of the Fellows Program in Public Affairs. We hope you will join us in welcoming Sara to this role. Sara has had the opportunity to work with Sadie over the past year, and is positioned to continue the success of our program.
We cannot thank Sadie enough for the commitment and leadership she has given Coro Southern California. She will be greatly missed by the staff, Board, alumni and partners alike. We look forward to following and celebrating the success of her career. Please join us in thanking Sadie for her dedication to training the next generation of civic leaders and in wishing her continued success.
Ian Campbell and Natalie Samarjian on behalf of Coro Southern California Board of Directors and Staff
Dear Coro Community,
While I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life, l am sad to leave what has been an incredibly rewarding professional and personal experience.
These past eight years have been a period of tremendous learning and professional growth. I have been fortunate to have worked with eight classes of Coro Fellows and four classes of Executive Fellows, and continue to be inspired every day by alumni and other members of the Coro community who are working to build networks and apply effective problem-solving skills to solve our challenging public issues. I am proud to have supported the growth of Coro as I believe so strongly in its mission, and am looking forward to cheering from the sidelines as Coro continues to expand its impact in Southern California.
Most important are the people I’ve met and relationships I’ve been privileged to develop. Thank you for your friendship and collaboration over the years. I look forward to staying in touch. You can reach me at my personal email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
